TJ First Haircut

Here is Tommy and his first haircut. The first picture is the "Before" shot and the last picture is his "After" shot:) His hair was really long. We weren't planning on getting it cut, but Tay and Aaron were getting a trim and as I was chasing him around his bangs were falling in his face. Aaron was really ready for his haircut, since he had gotten more than one compliment on his beautiful girls:) When he was all finished he looked at the stylist and said "thank you" (so cute how he says that by the way, kinda sounds like "tant you") and gave her a huge hug! I guess Daddy wasn't the only one ready for Tommy's first haircut! I saved his curls, not sure what I will do with them, Baby Book I guess? It surprised us all how grown up he looked. Enjoy:)

New House

So if you haven't heard we are moving. It is very exciting. Still in SLO but to a newer, bigger, and cheaper house. We prayed and God answered. We have lots to get done between now and then...pray for us. We have some really busy times coming up in the next few months. And as much as this is exciting for us it can also feel very overwhelming! Funny how you can pray so hard for something, God answers your prayer with a yes, yet it is TONS of work. I am working through some inner stuff on how I deal with change...and how change can bring about fear and worry in me. Having to lean on Jesus and my husband lots, which is a good thing, right? Well here are some pictures. I'll post more as we get in and I decorate...

Police Officer Taylor

Taylor is reading quite well and really enjoys signs and buildings as we drive. Recently she has taken to informing me of the speed limit as we pass the posted signs. Here is an actual recent conversation:

Taylor: Speed limit 45
Daddy: Ok
Taylor: Speed limit 35
Daddy:
Taylor: Daddy that means slower
Daddy: Thaaaaaaaaaaaank you.

Impressing Taylor

Taylor: Daddy, my new Bible keeps saying that Jesus is God's son. Is that true?
Daddy: Yes (opting for the short answer)
Taylor: Well I'm impressed!
Daddy: What impresses you?
Taylor: That He is God and God's son at the same time. I'm impressed.
Daddy: Well I'm impressed that you accept that so easily!

Oh that I may learn from my children half of what they learn from me ...
